The Dental Alliance Orthodontic Programme (DAOP) aims to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to progress in a career in orthodontics. It is therefore aimed at qualified dentists who wish to specialise in orthodontics. It encompasses both the academic and clinical aspects of orthodontics and aims to prepare trainees for success in their career and in the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) examination of the Royal College. The academic components will be delivered at UK Masters (M) Level.

The Dental Alliance brings together key stakeholders who have experience of successfully delivering Orthodontic programmes in the Middle East, understanding the challenges and needs of trainees from this region in gaining the knowledge and skills for the MOrth examination. Their experience is evidenced in having prepared over 40 students for success at MOrth through collaborative provision over the last 9 years in Egypt.
